Shared mission

Why it exists

Impact isn't about
how much money
you have.

In 2025, Thrive Summit (formerly Hustlers Conference) and Impact Media created the Youth Impact Awards for one reason: to stop gathering changemakers without honouring them. The award spotlights young people whose work, however local or early, is already changing lives in Cameroon.

Impact Media led nomination storytelling and shortlisting. Thrive Summit gave the awards a stage on Conference Day at Chariot Hotel, Buea.

Partners in recognition

Built with
Impact Media.

Impact Media, a Buea-based tech and media company, surfaced stories, reviewed nominations, and helped put faces to the work. Hustlers Conference 2025 hosted the awards on the main stage so the whole room could celebrate builders, not just hear about them.

After the 2025 edition, both teams committed to making the Youth Impact Awards bigger and better: a permanent spotlight inside the Thrive Summit experience.
